Restoring inner-ear physiology
Striode is a company that aims to gain access to the inner-ear and restore its physiology. In doing so, we primarily aim to treat patients with debilitating vertigo and hearing loss seen in Ménière’s Disease. The technology will eventually be applicable to inner-ear drug delivery and treating other types of hearing loss.

The cochlea is a small, spiral-shaped structure in the inner ear. Within it, sensory cells help turn sound vibrations into signals that the brain interprets as sound.
At Striode, our research begins with the goal of restoring inner-ear function for patients with Ménière’s Disease. We are exploring how new approaches to inner-ear access could create a pathway toward that goal.
